LeBron James生涯第4次在總冠軍賽落敗，賽後這位地表最強球員難掩失落，他說不論在哪裡打球，輸掉決賽總是令人失望。

2007年總冠軍賽當時在騎士0比4遭到馬刺橫掃，LBJ轉隊至熱火的第1年2比4敗給小牛，接著4比1雷霆、4比3馬刺完成2連霸。

去年總冠軍賽1比4輸給馬刺之後，詹皇決定回到騎士，但今天(17日)輸球之後，又以2比4不敵勇士，無奈收下個人生涯第4座「亞軍」。

賽後出席記者會，LBJ沮喪之情全寫在臉上，他說：「不管我是在熱火隊、騎士隊，還是在火星上面打球，輸掉總冠軍賽是令人失望的。」

騎士原本擁有三巨頭連線，但Kevin Love季後賽第一輪就受傷報銷，Kyrie Irving也在總冠軍賽首戰傷退，LBJ自己一人燃燒小宇宙也難敵勇士的團隊合作。

總冠軍賽6場比賽，詹皇平均攻下35.8分13.3籃板8.8助攻，FMVP獲得11票之中的4票。
